When I started the Work Programme in front of a computer screen I didn’t know what I was doing. I was very deaf which made conversation difficult and I was in great pain. At the Twist session it was even worse to begin with everyone talking at once but then things got better. My hearing aids came and the Twist classes were fun especially the trips out I went on in spite of being disabled. One was to look at the street food market. I liked the other people and a group of us started to think about how to help other people with disabilities. I want to take them on small walks to nice places in the open air which is what I love just to show them they can do it. I think it’s given me confidence.” Eleanor
