“Yesterday I was 2½ hours on the phone to my family telling them what I was doing today. When you’re about 60, nobody wants you. You’re too old for a job and you’re disabled so everybody turns their back on you. But this has totally changed my mind. I’ve got to do something and say, “look, I’ve done that. I’m still useful.
